What is the formula for bulk SMS cost?
Credits equal segments per message times recipients. Cost before VAT equals credits times the rate for your volume tier. Cost with VAT equals that figure times 1.13. There is no monthly fee, setup fee or contract to add on top, so these three steps give the whole estimate for a send.

What are the bulk SMS rates per credit?
Rates are set by monthly volume and quoted before 13% VAT. Up to 10,000 SMS a month costs NPR 0.90 per credit, and the rate steps down through six tiers to NPR 0.60 above 200,000. The pricing page holds the current table and is the reference if anything on this page differs from it.

How much does a one-segment English campaign cost?
A 120-character English message is one segment. Sent to 5,000 recipients it uses 5,000 credits, which at NPR 0.90 is NPR 4,500 before VAT. VAT at 13% adds NPR 585, for NPR 5,085 in total. The same message to 20,000 recipients at NPR 0.85 is NPR 17,000, or NPR 19,210 with VAT.
How much does a Nepali SMS campaign cost?
A 100-character Nepali message is Unicode and uses two segments of 67 characters. Sent to 15,000 recipients it uses 30,000 credits. At NPR 0.80 that is NPR 24,000 before VAT, plus NPR 3,120 VAT, for NPR 27,120 in total. Cutting the text to 70 characters halves the credits to 15,000.
How do I estimate a large monthly SMS volume?
Add up a month of sends, because the tier depends on monthly volume. At 120,000 credits in a month the rate is NPR 0.65, so the month costs NPR 78,000 before VAT and NPR 88,140 with VAT. At 250,000 credits the rate is NPR 0.60: NPR 150,000, or NPR 169,500 with VAT.
