What is bulk SMS used for in Nepal?
Businesses, schools, clinics and cooperatives use bulk SMS for messages many people need at the same time: fee and payment reminders, holiday notices, appointment reminders, meeting alerts, order updates and offers to customers who agreed to receive them. SMS reaches any mobile phone without an app or internet connection.
How do I send a bulk SMS?
Log in to the dashboard, add recipients from a saved contact list or paste numbers, write your message and send. The dashboard shows the character and segment count before you send. Each number then shows its own delivery status so you can see what arrived.

Can bulk SMS show my business name as the sender?
Yes. Request a branded alphanumeric sender ID of up to 11 characters from the dashboard. Once approved for your account, recipients see your name instead of a number. Until then, messages go out under a shared default sender ID, so you can start sending while the request is reviewed.
Do I need permission to send promotional bulk SMS?
Yes. Nepal's Advertisement (Regulation) Act 2076 bars advertising by SMS without the recipient's consent, with fines of up to NPR 100,000. Send offers only to people who opted in, and tell them how to stop. Notices and reminders tied to an existing service are a different category.
